She was predeceased by : her husband William Russell Patey (Ross); her parents, Frederick Keeping and Sarah Jane Keeping; her daughter Susan Drake; and her grandson Derek Patey.
She is survived by : her children, Annie Patey of Port, Russell Patey (Shirley) of Yarmouth, NS, Elizabeth Hurlbert (Donnie) of Yarmouth, NS, Loretta Osmond (Chris) of Port, Alice Hatcher of Port, Gladys Martell (Blair) of Halifax, NS and Stephen Patey of Port; her sisters, Ruth LerRiche of Port and Minnie Paddock of Yarmouth, NS; and her siblings-in-law, Emily Short and Isaac Patey (Nora) of Cape Ray. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
