He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Collins and Eleanor Collins; his siblings, Gerard and Bernice Dawe; and his niece Krista.

He is survived by: his wife Paulette; his stepdaughter Cindy Nowak (Steve); his children, Christopher Parsons (Michelle) and Tiffany Parsons (Josh); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Destiny (Ricky), Chelsea, Jessie, Todd and Lucas; his siblings, Catherine King (Dennis), Paul Collins (Debbie), Paulette Pilgrim (Bill) and Deidre Hynes (Wade); and his brother-in-law Don Dawe. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
