She was predeceased by: her husband Hughie Rose; her son-in-law Ted Milley; her siblings, Minnie Butt Snow (William), Sadie Cole (Baxter), Ceneth Sutton (Harold), Mildred Sutton (James), Alice Parsons, Benjamin (Mary), Freeman (Ethel), Silas (Bessie), Melvin, Harold and Warrick; her parents-in-law, Phoebe Rose, Jack Rose (Elizabeth), Hubert Rose (Natty), Fred Rose (Helen), Thomas Rose Jr., James Rose and Clarence Rose; and her sisters-in-law, Lillian Penney (Gordon) and Nattie Nolan (Stephen).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Milley Compton (Frank), Bonnie Rose, Glenn (Pearl), John (Yvonne), Danny (Charlene) and Barry; her grandchildren, Darren, Dion (Chelia), Nicola, Michelene (Claude), Wayne (Alison), Angel (Duncan), Lacey (Mike), Joelle and Sabastian; her great grandchildren, Chris, Ryan and Russell; and her siblings-in-law, Mildred Kelloway, Winnie Parsons, Mavis Parsons, Eileen Linehan, Ruby Rose, Aubrey Rose (Eileen) and Vincent Rose (Genevieve).
Following government legislation due to the current pandemic, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear, followed by a private funeral service from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
