She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Oates and Blanche Oates; her sisters-in-law, Gwen Oates and Patricia Connors; her parents-in-law, Wilfred and Gertrude Sullivan; and her close friend Linda Thoms.
She is survived by: her husband Tom; her children, Andrea, Shane, Heather (Chris), Harper, Brock and Kolton; her brother Carl; and her siblings-in-law, Bruce (Annemarie), Sheila, Helen, Dolores (Fred), Jean, Wilf and Niki (John).
