He was predeceased by: his daughter Robyn; his father Arthur; and his parents-in-law, Mary and Jesse. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Timothy (Meigan), Katherine (Brian), Rebecca and Caroline (Tyler); his grandchildren, Owen and Emily; his mother Shirley; his siblings, Glenn (Dana), Sherry-Lynn (Kevin) and Wendy; his siblings-in-law, Florence (Norman) and Terry (Cindy); and his close friends, Dr. Trevor Sweeney, Rick, Webber and Jessie Cox. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Autism Society of NL and the Vera Perlin, Society which supported causes dear to his heart.
