He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan George and Jemina George; his wife Gertie; and his brothers, Walter, Gordon, Fred, Hughie and Willis.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie, Larry (Brenda) and Terry (Nicole); his wife's children, Shawn, Jamie (Kerri) and Mark (Ashley); his grandchildren, Brittany (Dylan), Ryan (Amanda), Kyle (Jessica), Kaitlyn, Christian, Maddy, Avery, Brooke, Ava, Alex and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Carson, Austin and Isla; and his sisters, Minnie and Mary.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory.
