He was predeceased by: his wife Jackie; his daughter Lisa; his parents, Gordon Chubbs and Josephine Chubbs; his parents-in-law, Roy and Mildred Slade; his sisters, Hazel Snow, Genevieve Rumbolt and Emily Holley (Ira); and his siblings-in-law, Miranda Slade, Sharon Slade, Peggy Gear (Richard), Wade Slade and Leslie Slade.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Noel's Funeral Home (106 Water St, Carbonear, NL A1Y1A9). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Noel's Funeral Home Chapel (106 Water St, Carbonear, NL A1Y1A9).
