Catherine touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Catherine’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was predeceased by: her close friend Wilfred; her parents, George Cox and Emmie Cox; and her siblings, Josephine, Ernestine and Jim.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence. She is also survived by her loving children and their spouses; large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nine brothers and sisters; as well as coworkers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Noel's Funeral Home (106 Water St, Carbonear, NL A1Y 1B1). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay (106 Water St, Carbonear, NL A1Y1A9).
