The memory of Cody E. Curnew (Carbonear, Newfoundland), who passed away on July 2, 2025 at the age of 29, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William, Lillian Terry (Harbour Main), Ernest and Madeline Curnew (Brigus); his aunt Geraldine (Harbour Main); his uncles, Joseph Connors and Gregory Dalton; and his father Ernest Curnew (Melissa Taylor).
He is survived by: his significant other Amanda Warren; his children, Harriet, Elijah, Soon and Lily; his mother Shirley Terry (Joe Woodford); his sister Mia (Dawson); his siblings' children, Oliver, Lucy and Lola; and his sister Brittania Taylor. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Slade's Funeral Home (31 Powell Dr, Carbonear, NL A1Y1A5). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Anglican Church of the Resurrection.
In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Cody E. Curnew Memorial Fund.
