It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Butt of Carbonear, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor Butt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Charles; her sons, Gary and George; her parents, John Saunders and Sarah Saunders; and her parents-in-law, Joseph and Margaret Butt.

She is survived by : her children, Bruce (Ann), Peggy (Lloyd) and Scott (Michelle); her daughter-in-law Rosalie; her grandchildren, Corey (Charlotte), Lori (Cory), Roxanne, Christopher (Jillian), Katie and Aidan; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Noah, Dawson, Olivia and Hannah; and her sisters, Joyce (Fonce), Joan, Harriet and Juanita (Gary). She is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, other relatives & friends.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her loving memory to the Janeway Children's Hospital.
