It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Butler of Carbonear, Newfoundland, who passed away on March 29, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ellen Butler to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Stephen; her parents, Michael Ward and Winnifred Ward; and her siblings, Gertrude, Mary O'Keefe (Patrick) and Daniel Ward.

She is survived by : her daughters, Kathleen Zurkuhl (Robert) of Mississauga, ON and Leona Legge (Douglas); and her grandchildren, Katie (Jonathan), Cody and Stephanie.
