It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Piercey of Carbonear, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 20, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Lloyd; her parents, Matthew Dean and Mabel Dean; her granddaughter Kathryn Bowman; and her siblings, Emily O'Brien (John), Evelyn Taylor (Robert), Livy Snow (Charles) and Edward Dean.

She is survived by : her children, Marilyn Bowman (Brian), Ken (Judy) and Leslie (Vickie); her grandchildren, Stephen (Cheryl), Nicole, Michael (Heather), Lindsey and Brooke; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Harrison, Tyler and Dylan; her great great grandchild Grayson; her stepgrandchildren, Tim (Tammy), Shane and Lindsey; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jayde, Caleb, Shayla, Brady, Riley and Rayah; her sister-in-law Jane Dean; and her close friends, Martina Hogan and Pauline King. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a Charity of One's Choice.
