George Loveys Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Loveys of Carbonear, Newfoundland, who passed away on August 20, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Loveys and Mildred Loveys; his brothers, Junior and Barry; and his brothers-in-law, James Cook, Andrew Lee and Merv Tobin.
He is survived by: his wife Genevieve; his children, Rodney (Joy), Jackie Sharpe (Paul), Richard Vokey (Crystal), Jennifer Cole (Robert), Peter Dominic (Michelle), Marilyn O'Grady (Randy) and Precious; his grandchildren, Alana (Evan), Blake, Aleksa, Skyler, Brooklyn and Charity; his siblings, Wade and Marion Tobin; and his siblings-in-law, Jean, Philomena Lee, Janie Cook, Eileen Madden, Patricia Chafe (Donald), Laura Eschler and Derm Doyle. He is also survived by friends, including numerous Foster Children.
In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his loving memory to the Adam's Cove Community Hall Inc., Site 6, Comp 5, RR#1, Adam's Cove, NL A1Y 1C6.
