She was predeceased by: her husband Warren; and her parents, Peter Sparkes and Priscilla Sparkes. She is survived by: her children, Joy Loveys (Rod) and Darrell (Mary); her grandchildren, Alana (Evan), Colin (Adelaide), Nathan (Sarah) and Blake (Susan); her great grandchild Rowan; her brother Lewis Sparkes (Carol-Ann); her cousin Marjorie Tucker; and her close friend Alice Blundon.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Noel's Funeral Home (106 Water St, Carbonear, NL A1Y1A9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Bethany United Church, 2 Church Street, Carbonear, A1Y 1A9.
