He was predeceased by : his wife Winifred Jean Peddle; his parents, George Peddle and Olive Peddle; and his siblings, Ernest, Clarence Peddle (Frances), Louise Bishop (George Allen) and Edward D. Peddle.

He is survived by : his children, Frederick Peddle (Daphne Simmons), Robert Peddle (Beverly), Judy Barone (Massimo) and Sharon Peddle; his grandchildren, Kimberly, Stephen, Emily, Brian, Andrew (Star), Claudia, Adam, Amanda, Karlea (Van), Davis (Gabriele) and Courtney; his great grandchildren, Madison, Carter, Brooklyn, Izik, Levi, Chloe and Jaxon; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Peddle.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 14th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Slade's Funeral Home (59 L. T. Stick Dr, Bay Roberts, NL A0A). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (130 Neck Rd, Coley's Point South, NL A0A1X0). During these exceptionally difficult times, we at Slade's Funeral Home are exercising ways to ensure public safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted in his loving memory to St. John the Evangelist Church, Bishop's Cove.
