James Rendell Deering Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Rendell Deering in Carbonear, Newfoundland, who passed away on May 12, 2022 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Abner Deering and Margaret Deering; his parents-in-law, Eugene and Susanna Smith; his siblings, Melvin, Fraser, Sylvia Earle and Dorothy Critch (Ralph); and his brothers-in-law, Rendell Smith, Calvin Pike, Billy Smith, Max Smith and Harold Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Bernice Deering; his children, Suzanne Sheppard (Bradley) and Cory Deering (Cassandra); his grandchildren, Lucas, Lily, Jorja, Sophie and Scarlett; his siblings, Abner, Irving, David (Leanne), Johnny (Darlene), Palma (Wince), Stella, Annie (Chirs), Margaret (Wayne) and Francis (Watson); and his siblings-in-law, Phil Smith (Debbie), Gertie Pike, Frances Murphy (Richard), Cavell Smith, Veronica Deering, Aggie Smith, Inez Smith, Jessie Lundrigan (Joe), Joyce Mercer, Phyllis Deering and Annie Deering.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the James R. Deering Memorial Fund.
