It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jessie M. Slade in Carbonear, Newfoundland, who passed away on February 17, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Jessie M. Slade to show support.

Jessie was predeceased by : husband Eric; parents, William Butt and Lilly Butt; and siblings, Arthur (Clara), William (Elizabeth), Warrick (Viola) and Elizabeth Parker.

Jessie is survived by : children, Jeannette MacDonald (Jack) of Niagara Falls, ON, Heber (Gianna), Gary (Norma), Edgar, Rick (Ceanne), Scott (Bernice) and Salmon Cove; grandchildren, Justin (Adi), Melissa (Luke), Ashley (Evan), Alisha, Mackenzie and Erica; great grandchild Juniper 'Juni'; siblings, Thomas Butt (Phyllis) and Violet Forward (late Frank); and sisters-in-law, Arlettie King of St. John's and Bertha Parsons of St. John's.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
