He was predeceased by : his daughter Kimberly Ann; his parents, Harry and Violet; and his brothers, Henry, Reginald and Albert.

He is survived by : his wife Myrtle; his children, Sandra King (Carter), Tina (Warren Cole) of Edmonton, AB and Jamie (Robyn); his stepchildren, Johnny Carpenter (Tammy), Alberta, Mark Carpenter (Donette), Victoria and Sheri (Kevin Pearce); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin, Wyatt, Jack and Ava; his stepgrandchildren, Grady, Braydon, Julianna, Sierra, Brooklyn and Gracie; his siblings, Dave (Ada) of Bristol's Hope, Ches (Ann) of Bristol's Hope, Eric (Harriet), Edith Pye (Ches), Elaine Baker, Shirley Crocker (Bob) and Cindy O'Neil; and his siblings-in-law, Johnny Butt, Graham Butt (Shirley), Les Butt (Diane), Cyril Butt (Sherry), Gary Butt (Carol), Cyril Griffin (late Shirley), Shirley Currah, Opal Peddle, Annie Curran (late Maurice), Marion Sheppard (Don) and Gail Spracklin.

Following pandemic guidelines, visitation by invitation only at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, February 15 from 2:00 to 5:00 p. m., 7:00 to 9:00 p. m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, February 16 at 2:00 p. m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
