With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Traverse in Carbonear, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 25, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John and Catherine; and his siblings, Bride Merrigan (Anthony), Anastasia Slade (Richard), Theresa Fahey (Tim), Mike and David.
He is survived by : his wife Mary; his children, Cathy Mullaly (Bill), David (Levina) and Jamie (Shelley); his grandchildren, Curtis, Owen and Jenna; his brothers, Jack (Bride), Phil (Margaret) and Bill; his sister-in-law Bridget 'Bridge Traverse; and his friend Quinlan. He is also survived by Brothers, and all his fisherman friends, as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay, followed by funeral mass on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, by invitation only.
