He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Isabelle; and his brothers-in-law, Bill and Bob. He is survived by: his wife Beth Dunne; his sons, John Matthew Dunne (Jenna) and Aiden Dunne; his granddaughter Thea Dunne; and his siblings, Carmel, Anne, Paul (Alison), Maureen (Tom), Corinne (Eric) and Peter. He is also survived by other relatives & friends.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his loving memory to the Kiwanis Club of Carbonear or to the local Food Bank.
