He was predeceased by: his father Edward; and his sister-in-law Louise. He is survived by: his mother Gladys (Eric); his children, Edward (Holly), Nicole and Tyler (Nicolle); the mother of his children Colleen; his children, Gage and Tristian- of Nova Scotia; his grandchildren, Dominic, Damian, Aaliyah, Edward, Lexi, Cayden, Aiden and Keegan; his siblings, Michael (Cheryl) and Bonnie (Grant); his stepbrother Billy; Brad (Tina).
In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his loving memory to the John W. Fowlow Memorial Fund.
