Leah Marion Crane Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leah Marion Crane in Carbonear, Newfoundland, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Marjorie Parsons of Salmon Cove; her husband John Crane; her parent Selby Parsons; her brothers, Bill Parsons and Jim (Myrtle Parsons); her sisters-in-law, Drucella Parsons, Lorna Parsons and Fannie Lynch; her son-in-law Val Slaney; and her niece Paula Parsons.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Davis (Paul), David (Kathy), Edith Slaney, Rosalind Vickers (Ron), Joan Crane and Mark (Renee); her grandchildren, Andrew Davis, Krysta Simms, David Crane, Leanne Greeley, Lori Hudson, Robert Slaney, Matthew Harty, Jonathan Harty, Michael Harty, Nathan Vickers, Julie Vickers and Jordan Bishop; her brothers, Les Parsons (Pauline), Willis Parsons (Janet) and Russell Parsons (Maureen); and her siblings-in-law, James Crane (Roberta), Henry Lynch and Shirley Mullins (Ernest). She is also survived by extended family and friends including staff and friends.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations are gratefully accepted for St. Peter's Anglican Church Restoration Fund.
