He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Pearl Westcott Mackey; his parents, John Mackey and Mary Moore Mackey; and his siblings, Paul, John and Clare.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Marie (David Baldwin), Paula (Gary Brushett), Leo (Denise Mackey) and John; his close friend Patricia Mullins; his grandchildren, Ethan and Ryan; and his sisters, Mary Fleming, Margaret Beckman (Thomas) and Patricia Prendergast (James).
Flowers are greatly appreciated or donations may be made in his memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society Carbonear Food Bank of which Leo was a founding member.
