He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Byron (Jackie), Lina, Vaunita and Wyman; his close friend Joanne Pelley; his brother Stephen; his parents, Millicent Parsons and Bob Parsons; his nephews, Cody, Jessie (Hannah), Ryerson (Dawson), Jonathan (Heidi), Joseph and Jeremy; his cousins, Jackie Moores, Byron Moores, Boyd North, Jamie North, Scott Kennell and Paul White; his caregiver Lloyd; Bailey (Walter) and Alex.

A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Edward Slade Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations in Lloyd's memory can be made to The Make a Wish Foundation - Newfoundland Chapter.
