It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Jewer of Carbonear, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ada Pynn and William Pynn; her husband Howard of Spaniard's Bay, Newfoundland.; her sons, Baby Calvin and Craig; her siblings, Shirley Dunn, Rose Pitts and Jim Pynn; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Bishop (Harry), Helen Mercer (Thomas), Phyllis Bell (Richard), Eric (Bella), Jack, Wallace (Susie), Vick King, Harry (Freda) and Doug Rees.
She is survived by: her children, Terry (Sonia) and Trennia (David); her grandchildren, Madison, Nikita, Travis, Andrew and Terri; her sisters, Lillian Osmond, Ann Peddle (Ches), Ada Peddle (Dave), Ruby King and Sandra Hatcher (Allan); and her siblings-in-law, Rosalind Pynn (Florence) and Clayton Jewer (Bernice). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
