She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Albert; her son Darrell (Kayla); her grandchildren, Claire, Kaylie and Dawson; her siblings, Helen (Rick), June (Anita), George (Cindy), Shirley (Tony), Elsie (Ray), Dorothy (Bobby), Denise (Paul), Rosalind (Dave) and Reg (Berniece); her siblings-in-law, Harold (Maude), Curtis (Nancy), Herman (Menetta), Alonzo (Jackie), Diane (Larry), Lorraine, Greta (Nolin), Gladdale (Bruce), Paula, Brenda-Lee (Dennis) and Norma; her stepfather John Lahey; her mother-in-law Genevieve Rideout; her close friend Beverly Coombs; her son Trevor; her parents, Phyllis Burden and Ephraim Burden; her sister Lucy; and her father-in-law Howard Rideout.

A prayer was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Edward Slade Memorial Chapel.
