He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick and Clara; his siblings, Mae, Hilda, Ada, James, Wallace, Bill, Ernest, Nath and Albert; and his wife Viola.

He is survived by: his children, Victoria Chaytor, Carolyn Winsor (Brian), Gene (Donna) of Ancaster, ON, Stephen (Beverley), Vance (Jeanne), Paradise and Jim (Michelle); his grandchildren, Mitchell (Bev), Marshall (Chrissy), Jeffrey (Sarah), Bradley (Carly), Daniel (Rachel), Vance (Maria), Vaughn (Eva), André (Kristen), Victoria Lynn (Tommy), Dannielle (Jason), Philip (Kerra), Peter (Robyn), Katie (Dave) and Emily; and his siblings-in-law, Albert Cole (Frances) and Bessie Cole (late George).

Due to pandemic restrictions, there will be no visitation.
