With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rhoda Gillespie of Carbonear, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 26, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Isaac Power and Elizabeth Power; and her siblings, Hedley, Oscar, Joe, Ernest, Myrtle, Ann, Hilda, Clara Belle and Violet.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Butt (George), Don (Murley) of Carbonear and Paul (Linda) of Carbonear; her grandchildren, Brian (Michelle), Krystal, Kathy (Mike), Neal (Christine), Annette (Sheldon) and Johnross; her great grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew, Justin (Jessica), Jenna, Mallory and Alex; and her great great grandchild Grace.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear, followed by funeral service at Bethany United Church, Carbonear, by invitation only.
