He is survived by : his wife Virginia Mak; his sisters, Grace Payne Christie and Kathy Payne Andrews; his brothers-in-law, Allan Christie, Robert Downey and Terry Andrews; and his cousins, Joan Noel, John Payne, Mae Payne King and Betty Payne.
