He was predeceased by : his parents, Stephen Payne and Helen Taylor Payne; and his sister Donna Payne Downey. He is survived by : his wife Virginia Mak; his sisters, Grace Payne Christie and Kathy Payne Andrews; his brothers-in-law, Allan Christie, Robert Downey and Terry Andrews; and his cousins, Joan Noel, John Payne, Mae Payne King and Betty Payne. He is also survived by other cousins in the U. S.; nephews, nieces, and a large circle of close friends.
