It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilson E. Layden (Carbonear, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 14, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert and Virda; his parents-in-law, Melvin and Elizabeth Porter; his siblings, Ed, Albert, Allen, Vernon (Marion), Terry, Kathleen and Andrew; his nephews, Bobby, Jackie and Anthony; and his niece Barbara Ann.
He is survived by : his wife Maxine; his children, Sherry Butler (Chris), Dawn Smith (Brent), Melvin and Andrew; his grandchildren, Jonathon, Brandon, Casey, Ben and Michelle; his pets, Lily and Patches; his siblings, Eugene (Kim), Jim (Paula), Hilda Jarvis (Bill) of Victoria, Mount Pearl of Victoria, Virda Cole (Gene) of Victoria, Paulette Duggan (late Ken) of Victoria and Beulah Layden of Victoria; his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Layden of Victoria, Jeanette Layden of Victoria, Barb Layden of Victoria and Gwen Layden of Victoria; and his close friends, Kirk Farrell and Fred. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
