It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Leyte (Carters Cove, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert and Lucy; his siblings, Leslie, Clayton and Daphne (Gordon); his brothers-in-law, Morgan, Ronald and Clarence; and his parents-in-law, Stanley and Lydia.
He is survived by: his wife Dulcie; his daughter Tiffany (Alvin); his siblings, Garry (Mabel), Joyce (Robert), Ida (Raymond) and Ruby; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce, Jean (Lewis), Madeline (Raymond), Lorraine (Tom), Ina, Faye and Gerald (Donna). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church (46 Main St, Carter's Cove, NL A0G1P0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Donations in George's memory may be given to his family.
