She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Jenkins and Kathleen Jenkins (Eli); and her sons, Bill and Aubrey. She is survived by : her husband Harold Sansome; her children, Shurman (Mary), Olivine (Raymond), Kathy, Jonas, Doreen (Mike), Esther (Otto), Bernard (Angela), Wade (Darlene), Georgina (Danny), Gar (Lesa), Michael (Allison), Mary, Bud (Terri-Lynn) and Sharon (Kevin); and her sisters, Elizabeth (Edwin) and Florence. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church (46 Main St, Carter's Cove, NL A0G1P0). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
