It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Churnside Bungay of centreville, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Bungay and Emma Bungay; his wife Bessie Rogers; his parents-in-law, Beatrice and Alexander Rogers; and his siblings-in-law, Edgar John Hunt and Sheila Bungay.

He is survived by: his siblings, Robert, Lester (Jill), Gladys and Grace (Andrew); and his nephews, Darrin and Bradley. He is also survived by other family members and friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and recommendations, visitation and funeral service will be by invitation only.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to The Bungay Family and a decision on monetary disbursements will be made at a later date.
