It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen Skinner (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Thorne and Effie Thorne (Marsden); her sisters, Priscilla, Bethania, Gladys Dow (Stan), Francis Jean (Levi Enwood), Ada Chaulk (Ralph) and Lila Neil (Eric); her children, Marven and Joanne; her parents-in-law, Harry and Effie Skinner; her nieces, Margaret, Cedella and Diane; her siblings-in-law, Junior Savory, Graham Hayward and Julia Skinner; and also Chesley.
She is survived by : her husband Harry; her children, Pauline Pardy (Richard) of Ontraio, Judy Henneberry (Darrell) of Portaux Basques, NL, Harry Skinner (Eun Jung) of Qatar, Donna Sheaves (Norman) of Fort McMurray and Sharon Flowers (Michael) of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Chad Skinner, Aaron, Jen Pardy, Michael, Sarah Pardy, Caitlin, Myles Pike, Carly Sheaves, Jordan Hillier, Joshua Sheaves, Joey Skinner, Jordan Skinner and Mason Flowers; her great grandchildren, Jordyn, Logan, Noah Pardy, Brody, Austyn Pike and Olivia Hillier; her sisters, Margaret Savory and Christina Hayward; and her close friends, Elsie, Stan Hillier, Harry, Lavella Durnford, Jim and Evelyn Farrell.
Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in memory of Carmen can be made to a charity of ones choice.
