We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2021, at the age of 80, Eugene Kevin Downey (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), born in Codroy, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerald Downey (Ged) and Margaret Downey; his wife Valerie; and his sister Lillian. He is survived by : his sons, Shawn (Patsy Brownrigg), Keith (Shirley) and Ross (Shawna Ryan); his grandchildren, Julia, Rudey, Megan, Tyler, Kendell, Kiera and Bobbi; his siblings, Richard (Philomena), Nathan (Arvilla), Evelyn and Zita (Wayne); and his brother-in-law Calvin West. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Donations in Eugene's name can be made to the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre Foundation at P.O. Box 250, Port aux Basques, NL A0M 1C0.
