Francis Moore Obituary
The memory of Francis Moore (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 2, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Moore and Alexander Moore; and his siblings, Dave Moore (Dorothy), Tom Moore (Violet Pippy), Winnifred Harris, Louise McInnis (Sterling), Margaret O'Regan (Gus), Mike Moore, Gertrude Johnson (John), Marie Coles and Leonard Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Noreen; his children, David Moore (Cheryl), Karen Downey (Steve) and Keith Moore (Heather); his grandchildren, Mark, Bethany (Chad), Stacy, Alexxa, Amy (Kaleb), Erin, Sarah and Paul; his great grandchild Jackson; his brothers, Eli Anderson and Ronnie Anderson; his in-laws, Mary Moore, Helen Anderson and Geoffrey Coles; Wade Chafe. He is also survived by many loving nephews and nieces, great-nephews and nieces, and great-great-nephews and nieces.
A wake will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Ann's Parish. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
