It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hartland Charles Skinner (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on March 16, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Reid Skinner and Violet Skinner; his wife Bertha Skinner; his parents-in-law, Alexander and Alice Organ; his daughter-in-law Lorraine Organ; his grandsons, Taylon Hartland Kinslow and Micheal Walters; and his siblings, Freeman Skinner, Harriet Strickland and Ethel Leamon.
He is survived by : his children, Monford Organ of Isle, Alex Skinner (Wanda) of Isle, Sylvia Walters (Eric) of Rose Blanche, NL, Linda LeFrense (Calvin) of Isle, Hartley Skinner (Mildred) of Isle, Ross Skinner (Denise) of Isle, Lavena Brekkas (Reid) of Fort St, Don Skinner (Colleen) of Kamloops, BC and Eugene Skinner (Jennifer) of Fort St; and his siblings, Hiriam Skinner (Beatice), Hubert Skinner (Laura), Eva Ricketts of Burgeo, NL, Linda Skinner of Burgeo, NL and Laura Piercey of Burgeo, NL. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
