We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2024, at the age of 84, James Douglas Parsons (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), born in Greenspond, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Edith; his parents, Herbert Parsons and Kathleen Parsons; his granddaughter Jillian Parsons; his brothers, Austin Parsons and Boyd Parsons; his parents-in-law, Reginald and Violet Rose; and his siblings-in-law, Eric Knott, Maxwell Kettle, James Chaulk, Sam Rose, George Rose, Robert Rose, Joan Wahay, Georgie Parsons and Karen Rose.

He is survived by : his children, Karen Parsons and Tony Parsons (Denise) of Tompkins; his siblings, David Parsons (Linda) of Oshawa, ON, Kelvin Parsons (Jeannett) of St. John's, NL and Marie Vickers (Edward) of Tompkins, NL; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Kettle of Port, Kathleen Knott of Port, Jane Chaulk of Port, Margaret Zwicker (Rollie) of Berwick, NS and John Wahay of Arnprior, ON.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
