With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Edward Colbourne (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), born in Twillingate, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 19, 2021 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by : his parents, Augustus Colbourne and Margaret Colbourne; his parents-in-law, Morgan and Levina Gallop; his sister Marie; and his siblings-in-law, Mildred (James), Ada (Angus), Marcella (Paul) and Gordon.
He is survived by : his sons, Larry (Marilyn) of Codroy, NL, Shawn (Madonna) of Codroy, NL, Tony (Doreen) of Codroy, NL, Dwayne (Treena) of Halifax, NS and Brian (Karen) of Tompkins; his great grandchildren, Griffin, Reed, Brayden, Morgan, Emma, Katie, Tanner, Adian, Adrian, Colby, Steward, Nicholas, Nathan, Cody, Antonio, Angie, Shawn Lee, Jonathon, Josh and Jamie; his siblings, Brian (Gail) of St. John's, NL, Reg (Maryrose) of St. David's, NL, Sandra (Wayne) of Lewisporte, NL, Marion (Limbert) of St. George's, NL, Audrey (Brian) of Berwick, NS and Marilyn (Karen) of Amherst, NS; and his siblings-in-law, Slyvia of Codroy, NL, Kyrl (Geramine) of Halifax, NS and Clifford (Sophie) of Codroy, NL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Due to the latest COVID-19 situation, the funeral service will be postponed until a later date.
