John English Obituary

In loving memory of John English (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who departed this world on February 23, 2026 at the age of 72. John leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodrick John and Louise Ethel English; his siblings, Louise (Frank), Marie, Anthony, Carl, Jim and Charles; and his siblings' children, Peggy Sue and Darren.

He is survived by: his wife Alice; his sons, Rodrick J (Nina), Patrick Wesley (Nellie) and Matthew Gerard (Nieome); his grandchildren, Arlin, Skyia and Bryson; his brothers, David and Gary; his close friend Monty; and his pets, Finn and Chase. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church. A burial was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at the Mount St. Thomas Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations in Jackie's memory can be made to the family.
