With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Lavhey (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 3, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob Lomond and Lucy Lomond; her husband Samuel Joseph Lavhey; her brother Gordon Lomond (Sadie); her parents-in-law, John and Florence Lavhey; her siblings-in-law, Jim Musseau and Mary Mullins (Abner); her nephews, William Mullins, Amos Collier and Clarence Dowding; and her niece Annette Kettle (Alvin).
She is survived by : her children, Gordon Lavhey (Marlene) of McIvers, NL, Brenda Grandy (Don) of Cow Bay, NS, Wilson Lavhey (Tammy) of Sackville, NS, Henry Lavhey (Sadie) of Port and Jeanette MacAskill (Murray) of Lloydminster, AB; and her siblings, Roland Lomond (Roxanna) of Moncton, NB and Pearl Musseau of Port. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Margaret can be made to the St. James Anglican Church or to the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre.
