She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barter and Annie Barter (Nee Warren); her former husband Walter Lushman; and also, Michael Coley, Kevin, Walter, Edna, Bertha, Hiram and Jacob.
She is survived by: her children, Dinah (Dave), Elias (Rhonda), Hiram (Sandra), Albert, Vanessa (Will) and Michael (Wendy); her siblings, William Barter (Susan), Hiram (Christine) of Grey River, Martha Barter, Effie Barter and Joyce Barter; her brothers-in-law, John Coley (Margaret) and Cecil Coley; and her caregivers, Ida and Ambrose Lawrence. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at the Hillside Cemetery.
