It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxwell Kenneth Carter (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Carter and Julia Carter; his wife Ada May; his siblings, Eric Carter (Mary), Robert Carter (Ada), Issac Carter (Geraldine), Sadie Carter, Pearl Hynes (Pat), Mary Pike (Ted), Maude Kendall (Mack) and Dolly Levalliant (Brainard); and his stepbrother Robert Hynes.
He is survived by : his sister Margaret Fraser; his stepsiblings, Joseph, Martin, Jerry Hynes and Judy Sheean (Joe); his stepdaughter Joanne Jesso (Jerry); and his stepgranddaughter Amanda. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
