With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norman Joseph Muise (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Muise and Beatrice Muise of South Branch; and his daughter Ruby. He is survived by: his wife Zita; and his children, Elaine (Al), Norman Jr. (Shelly), Janice (Joe), Laurel, Doris, Rob (Patsy), Lucille (Melv), Harry, Lorne (Tonya), Scott (Kathy) and Melodie (Joe). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as 8 siblings.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honour Norman by continuing with his legacy. Monetary donations can be made in Norman's name to the Alzheimer's Society, or the World Wildlife Federation.
