She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Allen and Myrtle Allen; her sister Florence; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Curtis and Theresa Kilfoy Curtis.
She is survived by: her brothers-in-law, David Curtis and Bob Amminson; her husband Edward "Bud" Curtis; her children, Tanya (Derrick Meade) and Michael (Christa Pike); her grandchildren, Avery, Emerson, Myleigh, Gavin, Caleb and Alberta; her brothers, Ira Allen (Carrie Walters) and Wayne Allen (Violet Roberts); and her siblings-in-law, Paul Curtis, Michael Curtis, Carol (Ed Hancock) and Linda Amminson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the East Haven Funeral Home (57 Grand Bay Rd, Channel-Port aux Basques, NL A0M1C0). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers are graciously accepted and donations in memory of Susie can be made to the Cancer Society.
