He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Frances; and his siblings, Earl, Michael, Rickey, Joseph, Frances and Catherine.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hickey; his children, Jonathan and Jennifer Pierce (Colin); his granddaughter Leia; his siblings, Philomena, Marie (Gerald) and Thomas (Gertie); and his close friend Walter.
