It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Margaret Sparkes of Clarkes Beach, Newfoundland, who passed away at the age of 78, on August 12, 2021. She was predeceased by : her parents, Reuben Somerton and Dorothy Somerton (James Sparkes); her daughter Cheryl Mullet; and her grandsons, Bradley Sparkes and Nolan Sparkes.

She is survived by : her children, Dorothy Lawlor (Terry), Scott Sparkes (Karen) and Janice Batten; her son-in-law Terry Mullett; her grandchildren, Terry Sparkes, Michael Mullett (Jessica), Kelly Mercer (Damien), Katelyn Tobin (Steven), Amanda Manning (Darrell) and Wesley Sparkes (Macy); her great grandchildren, Isabella, James, Jesse and Nate; her siblings, Eleanor Andrews (Clarence), Reuben Somerton, Norma Gough (Brian) and Sheila Thoms (Phil); her siblings-in-law, May Somerton, Bram Piercey and Allan Sparkes; her siblings, Cynthia Piercey and Wallace Somerton; and her sister-in-law Geraldine Somerton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews family and friends.
