He is survived by : his wife Georgina (Sis); his children, Shane (Nadine) and Amanda (Shawn); his grandchildren, Sam, Hunter and Katie; his siblings, Rick (Patsy), John (Nicole), Edmund (Diane), Jim, Dan (Jace), Andrew (Lucien) and Joanne (Josh); his siblings-in-law, Lou, Bill, Barb, Anita, George (Charmaine), Linda (Jim), Stan (Ruby), Dave (Sandra), Terry and Chad; and his aunt Louise.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Edward Slade Memorial Chapel. A burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at the All Hallows R. C. Cemetery (20 NL-70, North River, NL A0A3C0).
