With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney William Lewis (Comfort Cove-Newstead, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 11, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred and Sarah; his sisters, Bernice Luscombe, Gertrude Ginn and Jane (Bert Head); and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Lewis and Alec Hurley.

He is survived by : his wife Nellie; his sons, Doyle (Cathy) and Dwayne (Karla); his grandchildren, Christopher, Noah, Abigail and Kalan; his siblings, Melvin (Kathleen), Wilson (Sandra), Kevin, Garry, Austin, Pearl (David Flanagan), Dulcie (Ivan Regular), Viola Hurley and Jacqueline (Jerry Head); and his brother-in-law Harry Luscombe.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove-Newstead.
