She was predeceased by : her parents, Martha and Caleb; and her siblings, Naomi, Evelyn (Tom), Eileen (Bill), Cora (Gordon), Ansel and Harrison.

She is survived by : her niece Paula (Craig); and her sister-in-law Bernice King (Major Olive Perry). She is also survived by nieces and nephews that were near and dear to her heart, also a large circle of other relatives and friends.
